Original Poetry
the wind whispered stories
and drew me from my cave
to the jagged shorelines of your ocean
of my grave
waves of grief and disbelief
lap gently at my feet
only to recede and reveal
a bed of broken dreams
thats beautiful…
Wonderful water imagery. The line “waves of grief and disbelief” is extremely powerful that it can send chills up and down your spine.
Heavy poem!! captures the feeling of crushing despair when dreams die…
