i am the earth

the blur that is, that was,

the feeling of a lifetime

has been crushed

and battered,

beaten and bruised.

being told you have to choose

win or loose,

to tie your own noose

no.

no.

no.

i will not,

CANNOT

be told that i am anything less or more

then the person who i was born to be!

i am the sky

i am the earth

for all it is

and for all it is worth!

i will show you

and you will learn

to breath free

to sleep easy

to live!

as you were meant

to be

Sunlit Dinner

There is nothing better

than a sunlit dinner.

Follow with your eyes

as the sky

goes by

And take a sip

of your lemon drink.

As you stare off into space

let your mind erase,

let your soul escape

into a peaceful place.

There is nothing better

than a sunlit dinner.

Ocean

I Open my Eyes. The Sky is gray. Rain is wet against me. Wind Howls down empty streets. Hurricane.

I Open my Eyes. I see the World. Hear the distant Roar of the Ocean. Feel the rain. Smell the Sea. Taste Fear.

I Open my Eyes. Step into Liquid, cold. Cold. Cold like ice. Feel the Rain and Feel the Life racing through me.

I Open my Eyes. I See the World.

Dreamer

Dreams never die

but sometimes they cry.

Dreams may never fly

but sometimes they try.

Dreams can reach the sky

or never past your eyes.

Dreams can be a way to live

or hold you captive.

Is God for me?

God

What is God

Is God enough to save a soul

Damned to hell

Is God love

Is God the night sky

Or the dull light of dawn

As days go past

And time grows old

Does God sit upon a golden throne

Is God for everyone

Is God for me

I don’t think so

So don’t try to make me believe

Ocean Bird

Ocean Bird soars

past gates and Doors

Past ports and towns,

Past smiles and frowns

Over the World’s troubles

Gliding effortless and subtle

In the strobe of the light

Of Sunshine morning, Glory flight

Ocean Bird soars

Past dark shadowed Moors,

Past caves by the coasts

Over lonely Ghosts

Out to the Sea

Of Joyous uncertainty,

Ocean Bird soars

To Heavenly lures

Past the dark storm cloud,

Past the Mean-eyed crowd

Past the dangerous waters

Till white snow covers

The Docks and the piers

And the daylight clears

Every cloud from the Skies

Opening up the Wanderer’s Eyes,

Ocean Bird soars

With a Soul so Pure!

Past the white-capped foam,

He’s found a Home

A Prayer For Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve when eyelids sink and Head does Nod, I look out my window to Behold my God, On quiet Night, beneath Perfect Sky, Is time to remember Those who cry,  And send out a Prayer for those Victims of Injustice and what is not ‘Fair’, those without a family With which this Night to Share, Let them know they are not Forgotten On Eve of Day ere Christ’s begotten. Those who suffer Mental illness or battle the demons of addiction and those infirmed with physical ailment or affliction give tender love and care and do not let their hearts despair, and to those who live where danger Fear and Violence reign, ease their sorrows, Woes and pain, this Christmas Eve remember those who had to leave and go up to that quiet sky, rejoice in those who live in memory of those who die, and let those who are Invisible be seen, to highest thrones lift them from shameful slums unclean, As I drift off to sleep, these secret hopes my Heart will keep this Christmas Eve I pray, let all the World behold

A glorious Christmas Day

Mountain Man

A Mountain Man with Grizzly Eyes

Lives on Land in Mountains High

He runs like a Beast and

Beneath the Starlit Sky he sleeps

Mountain Man in Mountains High

In love with Wilderness Uncivilized

Screams at the Trees and

Howls with the Wind

In Wilderness Uncivilized,

Until one Day

Men take him Away

From his Land beneath the Sky

And Dress Him in clothes and

bring him to the Town

There they tell the Mountain Man

To sleep in House and wear Hat and Buttoned

Jacket,

The Mountain Man drinks Whiskey and Wine

and People all say

How He’s doing Fine,

All Dressed up and Drinking the wine

But at Night the Mountain Man can

Still see the stars

And he knows that beyond the Cold, Stone walls

of Chaotic civilized Town,

There was the Mountain

And when he is in bed he sobs quietly

the tears roll Down his Roughened skin

But the Men of the Town

had said it’s a Sin

To live where there is No God

So the Mountain Man stayed and

Lived out his Days

In the Barbarically civilized Town

And at Night his very Soul would Ache and

silently He cried

Quietly and All Alone until

Mountain Man had

Died
